the joy of model railways has touched everyones heart, ever since the beginning, it gave children the oppotunity to run their own railways, the models used to be powered by clockwork, until they were fitted with electric motors, then Two companys came along, Bachmann was the first company to produce the BR models and sets, and then in the 1950s a new model company was created Tri-ang
as the range began to get better, it became one of the most popular model companys produced, and the name changed to 'Hornby' in 1973. Of cource Hornby wasn't the only company that specialized in Model Railways, many others have managed to produced alot of fantastic stock for our enjoyment
so in january 2006 a new model community started and was given the name MRFF. we are a model rail community and we like to chat about the new releases to the modeling world. on the 12th January 2007 it was re-named to its curret name 'Model Trains Forums' named after a Book from Tri-ang. In here you are allowed to host pictures of your collections, your layout, or just come in and chat about the Products Produced.
